Wine makers dinner with Bodega Son Vich - Mallorcas highest situated wineyard
Thuesday 10 March. 19:00
The Son Vich winery, dating back to the 13th century, is Mallorca's highest-located vineyard, located in the Sa Tramuntana mountains in the western part of the island. At around 400 - 550 m above sea level, some of the island's freshest wines are produced and they mainly work with international grapes such as Viogner, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, but also have local grapes such as Prensal, Gorgollassa and Mantonegro.
This evening we are hosted by Paul Faurie (export manager) and Mallorca sommelier Pernilla Ringenhall at Small Big Wines and the importer at Wine drops Lars Hoväng. They bring and uncork 5 different wines that are served together with a 3-course menu composed by Barrique's chef. The wines have not been available in Sweden before but are now imported by Winedrops and Barrique will have several of the wines on its list.

Snacks: Barriques salmon roe and Skagen mash on breadcrumbs
2024 Viogner Superna
2024 Marge Blanc de Negre (Mantonegro)
Starter: Soy marinated salmon with Asian salad and miso mayonnaise
2023 Supernins (Manto Negro, Syrah and Cab-S)
2016 Esencia (100% Cabernet Sauvignon)
Main course: Grilled flank steak with truffle potato puree, grilled spring first courses and Madeira sky.
We finish with coffee and a small truffle
